Are you guilty?

Are you guilty of destroying the environment? When you're out in public, do you litter or throw things in the water while at the beach? Are you cautious not to put dangerous chemicals down the drain where they could get into the local water supply? Do you always make decisions based on what's best for the environment or what's most convenient for you? Do you try to recycle? Are you part of the problem or part of the solution?

Yes! I like to think that I am trying to help the cause of creating a better environment! I use only organic washing liquid and laundry gel and organic bath and shower soap. I also recycle the paper and stuff. We never throw away papers and stuff unless it is in the bin and at a picnic site we leave it cleaner than what we found it... these things start in the home that we have to teach our children and help one another make a better environment.

I dont believe I am guilty of this! I try to make sure litter goes where it belongs. I have spit out gum on a couple of occasions though. :( Anything else goes in the waste can or I put it in my purse until I find one. I dont believe I have ever put dangerous chemicals down the drain. I recycle everything that my community accepts. Also I cut apart those plastic sode holders so no animals get stuck in them when disposed of. I hope I'm being part of the solution. :)
