A most expected Casino Date

What is the first symbol that comes to mind when you think of a slot machine? A majority will say sevens. (7s) Well a group of friends and I have a huge trip planned to a casino 80 miles from my home. The main reason for this trip.... The date we are taking it. Yes you figured it out. 07-07-07. The magical; lucky 3 sevens. Don't know if it is magical but what a better excuse for a trip to gamble I say. Hahahaha! So far we have 15 that are going to Grand Casino Hinckley. It wpiuld be nice if the gambling Gods would give me at least a decent windfall. HAHAHA.

Ok, gonna try this again and hope the powers to be don't shut my power off again.
That's kewl that you and some friends are going on a small trip even if it is to gamble. Just don't get addicted to it on us, ok. :-) Hope you guys win big! Good Luck!!

Been there, done that. Right after I sobered up I turned
my addiction to slots. Didn't renjoy it a lot so don't go
too often. When I do I go for the entertainment end of it.
I win, COOL! I lose, well at least I had fun.

I go in smiling and leave smiling win or lose. I am there for a fun time. So I always smile. I love the entertainment. If I go broke I then love walking around watching other peoples antics when they play the slots. I also sit in the high stakes area watching them stuff hundred dollar bills into a slot machine for one pull. Gimme a caouple of those c-notes I think. Oh you'd better believe I hoot and hollar. HAHAHA!

I know, pathetic, isn't it? We actually felt like the whole trip was a gamble, so we decided not to give them anymore. Besides, the smoke and noise was just too much for us.
I have one question though. When going INTO a casino do you smile? While in North Dakota we spent a whole week at a casino/resort and NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON smiled as they entered the casino. Why? I mean, if you are expecting such a lousy time, why bother going in? Just a observation.
Just promise me, Bob that when you go, you'll whoop and holler, smile and cheer! Prove that it can be a fun time for me. :)

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of the slot machine would have to be the handle you pull. LOL weird huh? That sounds like a lot of fun going to the casino with a group of friends and the date you picked just may bring you some good luck. I hope you win the jackpot! Have fun and good luck!

NO, those handles are still operable. It's just a lot more "work" pulling it, than pushing the button. :)

The symbol I thought of was cherries. I do not know if you make more money with cherries or with 7's. My husband and I will be making a trip of Lake Tahoe next month around the 21. Our son who works for the Amazon company, yes Amazon.com warehouse has asked us to be his guset for an employee picknick. We are looking forward to spending time with him and his girlfrieds. We will probably do a little gambling, we do not have lots of money to do such a thing.

Wow you will say anything to get a trip to the casino. Well I say good luck.......mabey a porcelin doll instead of a stuffed animal this time hehehehehe. Anyone else reading this thinks im crazy now and I just have to say I get it from my dad.

Good luck! I thought about going to Niagara Falls casino on 7-7-07 also—but we have a birthday party celebration- I know a lot of people are getting married that day- that would be an easy anniversary date to remember- I hope the gambling Gods—are smiling down on you this day and you hit it big! Or at least big enough to get some more flowers to plant for next year!

When I think of a slot machine the first symbol that comes to mind for me is a cherry for some reason? Followed closely by other fruits. Yeah, I am weird. I uesed the slots once a long time ago on a trip with a friend. We each went into the casino with two rolls of nickels and played until they were gone. We each made a wee profit, but we didn't want to stay and continue. It is very fun and I can see how one could easily get addicted to it. The entire atmosphere was fascinating!

it takes an addictive personality though to get addicted. It and anything at all is easy to get addicted to if you've got a sever impulsive,compulsive and addictive personality.

Over here we think more fruit.
As we call them "fruit machines", my grandfather actually worked and built the early bell fruit machines. So 7's would be something I'd think of but It would be between "bars" or fruit (such as orange, grapes)
