This year my son has a very limited summer program schedule as I can't do a lot. I couldn't sign him up for sports or anything that may run into the time that baby is due. Because he is 3 all the sports programs require parent participation which I can't do right now, I can hardly walk let alone run these days. So he is in the summer reading program and a swimming program that is on a drop in bases. What do you put your kids in for the summer?

My oldest daughter is the busiest this summer. She's already had Day Camp for week and a trip to Washington DC with her Girl Scout troop. She's at Darien Lake right now. In August she has VBS day camp and a week of away camp through her church. She is also in a 5 week summer reading program, her regular sunday scholl choir and adult church choir. She is also doing a little self imposed community service for some negative behavior a few months agu.

She is a good kid and loves to be busy. She volunteered herself to help a few neighbors with yard work to make up for some trouble she got into at school. It really wasn't all that serious but she felt she should do something to prove she can be more responsible.
