I've been in that position before. In a way, it's good to stay there so you can be around people that are in the same situation as you are and will understand what you are going through. But it would be great to be able to go home where your family is so they can help you through this. It's a hard decision but only you can decide. Good luck and I'm very sorry to hear about your husband going back to Iraq!

yes I stayed here last time and it sucked, not alot of guys in my husbands unit are married so I was not really around too many wives in my situation, the only good thing would be our BAH is 1550 and we would get that money instead of it going to base houseing, so after giving my parents like 500.00 to help pay for bills and food we could save 1,000 a month plus any extra money left over after other bills get paid

Yeah, you'll be rolling in dough. That is the only good thing about them going over there. They make a lot more money!

Yes I think it would be best to move back home and save the extra money, right now my husband is here =)

You would be sad?but what to do,work is work but your country isn't doing right with those people too.
thousands of innocent people have been killed there just bcoz of two leaders quarelling among themselves and taking lives of other peoples.

your right but it's my husbands job he does not have a choice he cannot say no I am not going, he is a United States Marine and when they said your going to Iraq he has to go, he is in maintance.
