Does anyone else notice the bugs getting worse?

Great Wasp - This is a picture of the kind of horrible wasps that we have had outside out hous for the last 2 summers. I think there is a nest in our attic. I don't remember haveing wasps like that around here 10 years ago.

I am wondering if anyone else in different parts of the world has noticed the bugs and insects in the summer getting worse? I have been noticing that the bugs we see here seem to be getting bigger, nastier, and greater in numbers every year. I have also noticed that it seems like we have new bugs now that we never had around here before. The other day I was walking down the street when a little girl walking ahead of me suddenly screamed blue murder, I looked and I saw a flying beetle that looked like it came here straight from Africa fly around her and land on the ground in front of me. I was horrified. I live in Eastern Canada, we aren't supposed to have bugs that big here, what is going on? The other thing is the bugs seem to have more potent poison now, I got bit on the forhead by a little black fly last summer and I literally looked like someone had hit me in the forhead with a hammer, no lie. Has anyone else noticed new, bigger, or nastier bugs in thier area?

Yes sure they are getting worse the bugs. This year already, I've been bit by black flies, which we usually don't have in our area. At first I thought I had a bad allergic reaction from something My daughter thought it was poison ivy, and than my husband thought I had a sunburn, which is funny because I pants all along. Than finally he said yeap, somebody told me at work that they had problems with black flies and there only 10 to 15 minutes from our place,Soooooooo!

There seems to be more mosquitos here in MN. I notice this since my daughter is allergic to mosquito bites. I do agree with you you that the bites are getting nastier.
