In the modern world "spirituality" is loosing its ground.

With the advent of computer, TV, Cell phone I have the feeling that people are fully engrossed on the above and ignore to think about spiritual life. It is not their fault. They do not have time to think about spiritual life. They are too busy for the whole day and when they come back to home, they need only rest. Do you think, am I right.

I think it depends on where you look. There are a lot of people who are becoming less spiritual, but there are also a lot of people who are just becoming less openly spiritual, so it's hard to tell sometimes. How do you know if someone is spiritual, really, without asking? How do spiritual people behave that others don't? You are right that it is hard in a busy modern life to fit in time to be spiritual, but I know a lot of people who make it a priority. Depending on their particular religious path, they might make sure to go to church every week, pray every night before bed, take a walk in the woods, have a small ritual, meditate, whatever. I personally often have to save my spiritual practice until my son is napping, or even sometimes meditate on my lunch break at work! Every day all day long, every decision I make, gets filtered through my spiritual perspectives and religious values before I make it. And yet, because I am interested in technology, am obviously very busy, and don't attend a recognized religious institution, there are plenty of people who would probably assume I am not spiritual at all! =p

I'm glad my response touched you. Even in things like mylot and other online sites, it's always nice when you can connect with someone in such a way. =)

Yes boss you are right. We have increased our need many folds. Thats why we are going far from spirituality. One day we will have to return back to old life style. Due to busy life style and in name of modernisation, people are feeling odd to live spiritual life but this is the best life. Free from various life's hurdles. Needs are very less. Mental peace is there. We try to discover a new world where God exists. Though this needs lot of efforts, may whole time be short for this. But we have always benefit of living spiritual life. Days are not far when we will start living in old fashion leaving this modern world's difficulties. Many people are going back within country and abroad also.

There are many spiritually elivated persons who are computer savvy, Serial lovers and posses more than one cell. It is not their business that keeps them away from the ultimate spiritual life, it is their laziness to seek the spiritualism.
