Yo-Yo's beyond Yo-Yo's!

Yo-Yo Quilt - Here's a quilt from the quilter's home magazine. It looks really pretty, but also intimidating (to me!) Hope you enjoy!

I picked a new magazine at the market the other day. It's called "Quilter's Home." It's been out for a while, but not available by subscription yet. It's such a neat variance to the the traditional quilter's magazines. The editor is one of the funniest men I've ever read! He loves quilting and loves talking about it! If you see a copy in your local store, I suggest picking it up and giving it a look through. Here's a link to a yo-yo quilt pattern that you have just GOT to see! It's in .pdf format, so you will need adobe reader to view it. It's pretty cool, though. I know there are a couple ladies here that love their yo-yo's so I thought I'd share it!http://www.quiltershomemag.com/pdf/betchawebpattern.pdf Now, I have been trying my hand at yo-yo's, but I don't think I'd have the patience to make all those little yo-yo's. For more information about the magazine, you can go to this site-- www.quiltershomemag.com I hope you enjoy!!

Thank you for the link. I will definately take a look at it. I am always looking for quilt ideas. I am getting ready to start on the quilt for my grandparents. It is going to have all of my families pictures on it. It is going to take more time to cut the squares and print the pictures out but I am really excited. Thanks again for the link and have a great day.

Glad I could help. :) Sounds like your quilt will be quite fun to make. One of these days I plan on making a picture quilt. I hope you have pictures and keep us updated on your progress! :)

Yeah, that is a lot of yo-yos. I like to make them but not that much. He's added new free patterns. They are GORGEOUS. Anyone looking for ideas, look here.
