Decorating with stuff from a flea market

I was just watching a show where a decorater redecorates one bedroom with stuff already there,stuff from flea makets,yard sales and getting a few things from Big Lots store and it cost's about $900 for one room! I think that is much especially for things that are used.What do you think?

I did my bedroom last year with less than $100. Stuff from the thrift store, things people gave me, stuff I already owned and then mis-tint paint from the paint store , spray paint for my furniture and a few things from the hardware and dollar stores.
I love it!
$900 seems like quite a lot for second-hand stuff.

You are right and I watch HGTV and wonder why some of the stuff they do is so expensive. I can do a room for next to nothing even buying it new! That is alot of money for used things!
