Missing My Hunny!!!

I do know the feeling copperkitten as my husband is currently away overseas for six weeks and doesn't return until 1st August. We have been married for six years too and this is the third time he has been away from me and yes it does hurt even after this long. My sleeping habits are up the shoot and I haven't been sleeping well at all. My son has been sleeping with me but its totally not the same. LOL Two nights this week I have not slept at all. It is now 6am and I am still awake. The heart sure grows fonder when one is away :)

It is sad that he's not there & i understand you missing him but the fact you cant sleep without him & haven't been apart for 6 years kind of sounds a little odd. Kind of like you cant do anything without him, which seems a little obsessive? I dunno if that's the right word to use there but it's all i could come up with. My partner & i have been together for 9 years, living together for 8 years & we're both quite capable of functioning without the other being right there. I think a little time apart is a good thing, your partner is obviously ok with time apart or he wouldn't have gone! Try & think of it this way - not being in each other's back pockets all the time gives you a chance to be you again & not WE :) It gives you time with your son alone, it also gives you time to do the things you like to do while he's away. Time apart is always a good thing, it makes you appreciate your other half more when they return! Please don't take any of what i said the wrong way but you are an individual & were before he came along! This will make you a stronger person too! Good Luck!

COME OVER I NEED A HUG.!!.ill do it..:) i remeber what it was like when i was in love we were living together for 7 yrs and when he went away to his parents for a weekend..i missed him so much...i thiought i had the flu my whole body seemed to be shutting down..and i was soo tired..i was really depressed..and i always had a stuffed animal from my childhood that i would cuddle with when he left..now i love not having anyone hog th bed and covers..and the snores...and farts..omg!! plzz!! lol...but Sky is everything to me as u know..and when he spent the night at my friends house..i wa soo happy that night gettin a break..then the next day..i missed him so much it was killing me..i couldnt wait for him to come home..i missed my baby! lol lol..and my heart raced as soon as he walked threw the door..soo i understand totally..and like i said..im here for you sweety..and i love ya..Muahhhhh!!!

yes and no...I haven't had this experience lately...but I find myself waking up to see if he is in the bed...we don't always go to bed together, but unless I am super duper tired..I will wait till he comes to bed...Then I can relax...and I am always feeling his wrist to make sure he has a pulse...one night I did it and he says, "I'm still alive." Scared the crap out of me....I think my heart left the room.....We laughed so hard...gotta love him...
