Is religion a blessing or a curse

Religion for me is self realization-its a blessing if properly followed but a curse if it is used for gain and self interest.

it depends to the humans.if human see religion is a way to not harm another humans and living beings then religion is a blessing.but when humans see religion is a way to gain money , power etc then it s a curse.

It depends on how religion is used. If it is used for good, it is a blessing. If religious deeds are evil in the name of something someone claims as good, it is a curse. Everyone thinks they are doing good and they want to believe they are doing good, but unless they are really doing good, there is no good. Where there is violence and malice, there is no good. What's worse is that the people who use religion as a weapon have no idea they are doing it, and will stop at nothing to justify their actions.

These days it is a curse. I was talking to my husband last night about our what religion our baby should be when he/she is born and we ended up fighting. We slept is seperate bedrooms and I am still mad this morning.

some people say it can a be a curse...but it depdns on which religion you come from and how much you believer in you faith.. i think it is a blessing at times..but sometimes can be a curse nowadays
