Do you ever hear things that aren't really there?

Ha! You all are going to think I'm crazy now. But seriously, last night I was lying in bed with my husband and I thought I heard music. My husband wakes up and I ask him if he was hearing the music and he says no and rolls back over. So I get up and walk over to the computer to make sure I didn't leave itunes open and it was still playing music. No, that wasn't it. But I still was hearing something! Sometimes our upstairs neighbors blast music at all hours of night so I thought maybe it was them. But I was hearing some kind of rock music. They ONLY blast horrible gangsta rap. Anyway, have you ever heard music that wasn't there? Or at least, supposedly wasn't there? What do you do?

OMG, I thought I was the only one who ever had this happen!! It used to happen to me all the time, where I would be lying in bed and the music was just so faint, like I could hear that it was there but not exactly what it was. I would mention it to my boyfriend who could not hear anything of course. It has not happened to me in a while, but it did happen a few weeks ago. What is strange about it is that it is almost like it is coming thru the bed or the pillow, and once you pick up your head you cant hear it anymore. There was also something like this happening when I was a child. Me and my sister would both hear noises like the television was on in the other room, but when we got up (assuming that my dad was still up watching tv) he would be in bed and all the lights and tvs in the house would be turned off. In that case it wasnt just me hearing it.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one! Maybe I should be glad that I get to listen to non-existent music when I go to sleep and my husband doesn't! :)
