Or Goofy Golf as they called it in Biloxi, MS? I haven't played it in years but I used to love to play miniature golf. I also like the grown up kind of golf and have a favorite course in Purgatory, CO at Tamarron. But miniature golf was always fun. The one in Biloxi had all sorts of entertaining qualities and I'd love to go play again one day. Do I have any fellow mini golf lovers?

Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! I love playing miniature golf. I even got my son hooked on it. But I kick his butt every time. It's hilarious to watch hubby play it because he is so used to playing regular golf that he hits the little colored balls to kingdom come! One of these days I will remember to take my camera and sneak a picture of him to share with you. LOL

Thanks for making me laugh! Your husband sounds like my Dad to a degree. He used to get mad when I'd beat him. Of course, he's always been rather competitive as I have and he doesn't like losing at anything. Neither do I.

When I was a teenager that seemed to be the popular thing to do in our youth group, go miniature golfing. I hated it! Not because it was golf, that part was fun. I loved the unnaturally green grass and windmills. The problem was we always went at night. And we all know those courses are VERY well lit. That attracted every gnat, mosquito, moth, and june bug within a 100 mile radius. I spent the whole night flinging bugs out of my hair!

Thank you for the laugh first of all. And, I'm not sure where you live but I've never experienced that problem that I recall so your description was absolutely hysterical! I'm sure that wouldn't have been any fun, though. I grew up going to the Goofy Golf course in Biloxi, MS and it was right on the ocean and there were no bugs, even at night. Probably because of the ocean air. You should really try going during the day early in the fall when it's just gotten cool out. Bugs tend to avoid cooler temps. Of course, you may not want to go play miniature golf. I happen to love it but the nearest course is about 40 miles from where I live and since I don't have a car just now, it's not high on my priority list.

That sounds like such a nice place to play! Much better than here in Oklahoma. I mean the golf course was right in the middle of Oklahoma City, so it wasn't like we had woods around us. But still they came. : ) I think it would be nice to go to a game with some family. Maybe in the fall when the humidity and heat go down, we'll all risk it. : )

miniature golf - Here is a picture I took of a miniature golf course in Virginia. It was very fun to play. Miniature golf is a blast and love trying to get the ball through or around the obstacles.
I absolutely love playing miniature golf as it is very fun and entertaining. It is tricky getting the ball around all the obstacles and into the hole. We have numerous courses here to play on. It is neat to see and play on all the different courses that I have come across.
