Styling your hair

Do you have a fussy hairdo that required lots of different hair products? I have to use a mousse, then spray but I think that is pretty easy to handle. I have a friend that uses tons of different products for the end result. I do not like using curling irons and just love being able to blowing it dry and shaping it as I blow. How much work to you have to do to get your hair style where you like it?

My current hairstyle is easy enough to style. I just brush it into the right place after it's dried, and then spray it with hairspray if I plan on going out.

I think the bases to a good style is a good cut. If you have that I think you have it made. Thanks for the response.

I use a flat iron on my hair just to make it go straighter. I have enough wave in my hair just to get on my nerves. But after that all I use is hair spray. I don't use anything else on it other than that.

my hair is not hard to handle so i dont use a lot of products with it. but during work for i am a singer i wear different styles of hair. sometimes i curl it so i use hair spray, sometimes i tie it all up away from my face so i use gel and hair spray. sometimes i wear it straight so i iron it or blowdry it but dont use spray anymore.

I sometimes use a flatiron, and most days i use a cream to protect my hair from damage from styling, but I cant stand to use gells, hairspray, or mousse, just becuase i aboslutely hate the feeling of product in my hair, especially if i curl my hair and its constantly in my face, I cant stand having hairspray in it.

Good for you protecting it that way. I can't say as I blame you either for not wanting spray.....thanks for sharing!

It depends on how long my hair is. If it's longer then I just let it air dry. Mostly because I have an 11month old and cannot actually style my hair everyday. I don't like putting a lot of junk into my hair! But when it's short I like styling it "fun." I like putting it into a faux hawk or spiking it up in the back. It depends on my mood or what I'm doing that day!

I remember the days when we all wore curlers to bed. I wonder how many night sleep I lost over my hair. I think today's styles are so much better with little maintnance. Good for you. Makes life so much easier! Thanks for sharing!

I have styled my hair the same way all of life. I keep it short (shoulder length or shorter) and just brush it. I like that particular style because there's ery little that needs to be done, I can just get up, brush it, and go.
