Would you pay more?

I just ordered some biodegradable trash bags after reading that the regular ones I use might never deteriorate! They're really not that much more expensive than regular ones. Am I being silly for spending more, or is it a wise investment in the environment? Can one person doing this really make a difference?

it's a great idea, especially if it doesn't cost much more and if the bag is made of recycled materials, even better!

Yeah, well, I just got an email from them that I didn't order enough to meet their minimum (I didn't see a minimum anywhere). So I guess I'm not going to get them. But I may start using paper bags to line our trashcans with, except for the kitchen one, that sometimes gets wet stuff. I don't know, I'll keep looking for alternatives.
