At last, I've managed to publish my poems, with a little item at the end about attracting Faeries to your garden.
I had a lot of trouble to begin with, having tried to convert it to printable book text and images, but eventually, thanks to the help of a friend, I found a PDF converter and converted it before uploading for the twentieth time! lol. The print isn't perfectly placed in the middle of each page, but hey! It's my first attempt, so I'm pretty pleased with it.
I've plugged the book on my poetry site and also another site I have, so now I can relax and sit back to wait and see what happens... the main thing is, I got it published! Woohoo!!!

Congrats on publishing your poetry and I was wondering if you could give me the web site name where you signed up to publish your poetry free of charge. I have 3 books of poetry that I wanted to get published one day. Also how does the copyright thing work, does your publisher do all that for you? Thanks and congrats!!!!!!

hmmm. so, there are really lots of talented individuals here. good for you all. i love to write poems, too. but not as pretty as the poems you have. and i guess, even if my poems get published, not so many people will appreciate them. huhu. anyway, good luck too you, too!

Anne... you never know. I used to think that way, then I made a new friend who liked the way I wrote in here. He encouraged me to show my writing, and I got good guest book comments, so then, he encouraged me to publish, which I did. Thanks to him, I feel much more confident about what I write. :)

Hey good for you honey - I am really pleased for you! I am really having a couple of blonde days right now I am sorry but how do we get your book - through your website? I have read some of your poems and I'd love to read more - and to read more about Fairies (sorry I always spell it that way) My Granda used to sing me an old Scottish song about Morag's Fairy Glen! xxx

Well, if you go to my website, there's a link on each page. he he he.
I have two sites on Freewebs but I guess the other one which I'm in the process of building up, might not interest you, because it's pagan orientated. :)
The spelling of faeries is just an option... not many spell it my way. ;P
Brightest Blessings my friend.xxxx

Congratulations! I would love to get my poems published in a book. I really hope you are able to sell lots of copies because I know poetry is hard to sell. But if you have a lot of friends, and exposure through websites, you have a good chance of doing well. I wish you the very best and hope I am in your position some day.

Awwwwww, thank you. I'll do that for you. I have no idea why you can't get through on my profile, but there you go. I self-published on Lulu... you could do the same. It's free and you just state how much commission you want on sales, then they price the book, taking their own commission. Good luck with that.
Brightest Blessings.

Oh that's fantastic!! I'm beginning to wonder if I should do the same with my short stories--did you print up the book yourself on your computer?? My Mac has PDF capability so no need to worry about converters
I read those few poems and they are so great...uh...do you give a discount on the book for mylotters? LOL

Yes, Pye, if you write short stories then, of course, you should do the same. I put my book into a manuscript on my Word, then I converted and uploaded it, chose the cover etc., and they did the rest. The URL for the publishing site is:
www.lulu.com
Just sign up and follow the instructions on the tour video. Good luck.
Brightest Blessing my friend. Wish I could offer discount but you don't get that facility. lol.

That is great! What is the name of your site, can we view some of your poems? I am in the middle of writing a bunch of poems to and I was wondering how to get published. A friend of mine mentioned Infinity publishing.com so I am still searching but I really want to say "WAY TO GO" Great Job! Keep writing!

That's great. Hopefully it turns out to be a huge success for you on that. Hopefully it'll work out for you. Perhaps to help out even further is making some flyers and telling friends and family members if you haven't all ready. Could help getting you some more sales on that if you want.
