Going toothless, tooth implant or denture?

Many of us are blessed with good set of teeth but some might not be lucky. If you have to extract your bad tooth especially the front one, will you quickly replace it with denture, tooth implant or just go toothless?

Depends on what age this happens LOL i would probably replace it if it happened now, and or if I could afford to LOL

unfortunately bad teeth run in my family. ive had a lot of oral surgery done. all molars on the bottom have been capped. the lower fronts are still fine thankfully. i opted for a partial plate for the uppers though. i had really wanted the implants until i learned that like once a year they have to peel your gums back to clean the "implant" screws that go into your jawbone. and that just freaked me out lol! i dont necessarily like the fact that i have a partial plate at 32yrs old..but is FAR BETTER than going toothless in my opinion!

I am not sure ellie. Actually it depends on when this happens. If it happens now more likely I will go for a replacement with denture. If it happens at an even older age I may leave it unreplaced. These things cannot be planned in advance. Thank you ellie.

I enjoy solid foods too much not to actually get dentures or an implant. I'm assuming implants cost more, but i'd prefer something a bit more stable that is permanently mine, even if not really mine. Besides at my age if I had dentures it'd be sad... and more than a little funny.. odd how that works out. ^.^
