Struggling with my addictions!

I have two addictions that are really messing up my schedule and my sleep! One is myLot. I keep logging in several times a day (and night) just to see what is going on! Then I found this game on my computer called spider solitaire. Now I am on the computer all the time and getting nothing accomplished! My eyes are grainy and I think I'm getting carpet tunnel in my right hand! My poor husband thinks he's been abandoned. He may be right! I keep hoping my obsessions will decrease pretty soon! Anyone got any suggestions?

Hehe--I have an addiction to MyLot too and probably do spend way too much time here...and thank goodness I haven't gotten involved with game sites..yeesh, that's all I need....I'm in front of the computer all the time myself...ah, you're poor husband thinks he's abandoned? How about you're kitties..now heaven forbid you abandoned them!! LOL
As for what suggestions on what to do...uh, not a clue

Go on a holiday with your husband, somewhere you can't access the internet. I recently went on a holiday with my wife and kids to a beach resort, we had cable TV but no internet access and it was good to get away from it for a week!

me too have this addiction..i mean mylot.i dont plays games in my computer.acyulayy i hate playing games!but this mylot is very addictive.i lost sleep many nights.me too started a discussion on this mylot addiction.but now it is ok.i will not login nowadays since i am living in hostel and there are no computer or internet in hostel!

That is a hard way to deal with an addiction! I hope you are not in severe withdrawals!

You may love what you are engaged in at present .However too much of anything is undesirable. Try to evade your addictive interests and find something worthwhile to do. Good luck.
