When somebody requests you for friends do you check their profile before/after?

I have a habit to check the profile of my new friend requests before i add them, just for the heck of it.or Out of curiosity. What i do is, i right click on their avatar and open a new window to view their profile while i add them on the window that i was already working on.Although i would never deny their requests, whoever and from wherever they may be. What do you do first thing when somebody would like to add you as his/her friend? Do you blindly click accept or view their profile? or do you deny to some?

I always look at the profile of a friend's request, on all the social networking sites I'm a member of. I do a quick scan. There are plenty I have denied due to their profile being nothing but promoting known scams or they are affiliated with ideals or groups that I don't feel comfy associating with. I keep in mind that others viewing my profile will see who is on my friend's list. If there are folks listed that have scam programs or ideals listed in their profile that are negative, that reflects on me. The viewer of my profile will think I condone these other folk's programs/ideals. But, more often than not, I approve friend requests.

No, I approve their requests as soon as get in...but I have so many pending requests and they don't approve them but it's okey...no problem at all.
