I enjoyed hearing about your pets...do you have any funny, unusual pet stories?

It was a real pleasure to hear how your pets enhanced your life and to be able to share how ours do the same for us. As I read the stories some were sad, many were happy and all of them were very touching. Some Mylotters told me a couple of funny stories...one about a parakeet with attitude...and another about a cat that let the owner know if the fellows she brought home were good dating material or not. I shared a story about our large while cockatoo that bit out two 70 pound dogs on the rear end while they were sleeping and then chased them around the house...now that bird also had attitude! If anyone has a happy, funny, unusual or even sad pet story they's care to share...I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to hear about it.

Wow...sounds like you have dogs with very special talents. That is a really cute story...I can just see you looking around and your dog staring back at you with a' I gottacha' look in his eyes. Our 15 year old Tasha (her picture is in my photo gallery under grande madame) has the kind of bark that sounds like 'hello.' I often wonder what our dogs would say to us if they could talk. But they do speak in their own way. The non-verbal looks and warm snuggles and of course their 'slurpy' kisses...they do speak in their own special language...and this is why we love them so much...Right! Thanks for sharing the phone story. It is good to have a little time to catch upon Mylot...I have been completing two magazine articles. One on men's issues and another one for a gardening magazine. So I've been busy...but never too busy to touch in and catch up with good friends like you and other special Mylotters. Continue to take good care...we will be in touch Lakota...because we care and share from the heart and I am grateful for my connection with you. Bright Blessings!

Maybe it is not too late. We had a dog that was very charismatic...funny, smart, goofy...loved to make people laught. We never found an agent for him...and we had to put him down after a 15 bond with him. Sometimes we still regret that we didn't find him an agent..and put him in the movies. You might be on to something...take care..and be as good to yourself as you are to others my friend.

This is one of the funniest things that my cat did. He was only one year old at the time and we were living in the bush. There were a lot of birds in the bushes and he would try to catch them. One day he caught one and brought it in that big shed I was in. But he let go of it... and the bird flew under the roof. For the next ten minutes he proceeded to miaow at me... like if he was asking me to catch it for him. It was like a frustrated child wanting his toy back. I can laugh about it now... but at the time... he almost drove me up the wall (no pun intended). By the way Perspectives... the cat is better. He had a very nasty infection. That wild cat did probably bite him.

Hi Aussie...so good to hear from you again. I've missed not chatting with you. I posted a couple of comments on your site...checked back...nothing. Thought you were 'mad' at me...JOKE!!! If you really believed that comment I'd be worried...don't want to appear like I've got a rejection complex.LOL Seriously, I enjoy our interesting, informative, challenging discussions here...or on your site. It is really good to know Bobcat is doing better...strange as it sounds I did send some healing his way. I know how much joy our animals bring to life...and I sincerely hoped he'd recover. Thanks for letting me know. Now on to your funny story about the bird and your cat. We have had the same thing happen when ours catch a mouse and it gets away...they howl..look up in our faces...and appear to be saying; "I'll keep howling until YOU find it..and give it back." If they catch it..or another they bat it around and then howl when it no longer moves. Cute story from a cute cat. Thanks for stopping by...good to hear from you again. Raia

They're are a lot actually. One of the stories was about my cat and my sister's cat. It turns out that my cat dislikes my sister's cat and usually goes near her just to fight with her. It happened when my cat was lounging on her bed. My sister's cat saw her. She was afraid for she might pounce on her. So, while passing by her she sort of like crawled in front of her just to avoid her. My cat just looked at her. It was pretty hilarious.

That is cute...and I am sure you find as we do that our cats keep us endlessly entertained. We have five...2 females and three males. They frolic and play, knock things over..and generally have a great time doing what cats do! Thanks for adding your fun hilarious pet story to the topic.
