Hi this message goes out to two groups of people:
those who use injectable medications (on themselves or pets, whatever)
those who work for eye doctors in the contact lense department
My question is:
what do you do with all your empty little bottles? I am sure those using meds probably toss them. Those of you who work for eye doctors; what do you do with the little bottles the contacts come in? I was under the impression that you toss them but I called an eye doctor yesterday looking to get them and they don't toss them. They return them to the insurance company.

I cannot answer for either group, friend, but you have me interested. What are you going to do with little bottles. Is it some special craft? I will watch to see what comes up here. By the way, tell us about the adorable thing you are holding in your avatar, as well.

During the time that I was a practicing nurse...we used many types of injectable medcations..the vials were accounted for and then thrown into the trash when empty...I am sure that this is still widely practiced....of course, sharps containers were used for the needles after they were used....
I also think that there needs to be a better way for disposal of empty bottles from meds...
