.... were brought before the board of supervisors in Prince William County,Virginia and was voted in to go thru the process of changing. The supervisor said that it is not fair that tax payer's that are citizens to pay the way for the county benefits such as public socail services, public schools, public pools, etc. for illegal imigrants that live here who do not pay.The people who are from the same countries who went thru the process of being in this country the lawful way as well as most natural born citizens are behing getting these laws passed. If the bill goes thru and any illegal imigrant comes to a hospital or get's arrested they will automatically be deported after they receive the imediatly needed medical treatment. It appeared that the only people that did not agree were illegal imigrant's and they said we were taking their rights away.Excuse me,what right's.If they came into this country illegally then they are criminals.Personally I agree with the bill.Iam not pregidous.I know alot of foreign born people. But they came her legally.Matter of fact two of those people are very hard workers, speak english and they are being deported because there is not enough room for them here. What do you think?

I would support this bill, thats for sure. It seems that there are tooooooo many of the illegal variety and that is not fair to the tax payers of this country. I have nothing again foreign born people who want to come to the US to make a better life for themselves and their family but for goodness sakes, I don't agree with them staying here time after time, have child upon child, that my tax money has to go and support. Social Services is supposed to be a hand up not a hand out. At least thats the way I saw it when I was in 'the system' So many times I have seen my husband apply for a job and be told that even though he was qualified, they didn't need him at that time. Ok fine. then you go into that establishment a week later and see a foreign individal with 'training' on their name tag working the exact job my husband applied for. Its high time that the illegals were weeded out and sent back home and if they couldn't or wouldn't do things the legal way, then they needed come back. We have rules to follow here in the US just like any other country so why do we as American Citizens have to follow the rules but those who live in our country illegally do not? I am not predijuce in ANY way however enough is enough. I think it would be good to close coming to the US to live for foreigners for awhile as well.

Iam not pregidous either but your right enough is enough.People like me and you,who were born here and need help can't get it because they are out of resources.I have been not been hired for jobs because I do not speak a foreign language. But,I see people all the time working in the stores, fast food restaurants that don't speak english. And Iam told all the time when I ask why is it this way, they tell me well it's this way in my country. Then go back there if their ways are so good.

I have the same probelms. Can not get a job here for the life of me. I am more than qualified for the jobs I apply for but yet I am told "we're not hiring" (help wanted signs up) or "We are still looking at application". When I go in a couple days later and the have a bunch of new people work and of course not 1 can speak good english.

Well I Live in Prince WIlliam County and think this is great although I think there are more ways then if the go to the hospital or get arrested to find out if they are legal or not. In my opinion the should send someone down to any of the 7-Elevens and ask for paperwork from all the guys harassing anyone driving in to the store. Its a bit much when you cant get out of your car because there are so many guys standing at your door trying to get to you. I am not pregidous either but we need to follow rules so why dont illegal immigrants?

I think this is great too.I called the supervisors office this morning and told them that I support the bill and they said that the phone has been ringing off the hook,so to speek, all morning and the clerck was there alone. She said that the majority of the calls were from the public in favor of the bill. They said that librians, lifeguards and school principles are to check green cards. But,these individual people may not inforce it.They may be scared that a hispanic gang might meet them outside when they leave work. The police should go to the 7-11's,etc.Door to door even. The news also said that the supervisor also said that if this bill goes thru it will be the strongest imigration bill in the country and maybe other counties and states will follow. The clerk at the supervisor's office also told me that the federal government is saying that it may not be done at a county, city opr state level.Heck, federal isn't doing much good.

Federal is messing up what they do do.It was on the news that they were starting to put up those fences at the border and somone missread the papers and put the fence up way into Mexico. Now,it will cost about 2 million dollars to re-do it.Guess who has to pay for his mistake....the taxpayers!
These so called educated can't even read a boundery map.I used to babysit for a man that had an engineering degree. He came home from a trip one time and started telling me how the hotel had overcharged him $7 on phone calls. He handed me the bill to look at and within one minute I told him that indeed they did overcharge him,but not with phone calls and I should him where the error was on the bill. Here Iam a woman with a GED and some college credits and I figured it out.He can tell me the scare root of whatever, which I can't but he could not figure out a simple hotel bill. And he works for a branch of the government.Go figure. But,I have been not hired for jobs because I don't speak a second language.I was not applying for work as an interprepter, but in a branch of our local government.

It's harsh but I would support it. I think it's only right. Go back and try it the legal way next time. We have laws and it's only fair if everyone has to follow them. It's not fair to the immigrants that waited for their time and paid their fees to become Americans, if we don't send these illegals back. IMO any way

That's exactly what an imigrant said that he came here seven years ago and went thru everything properly and lawfully. And so should all the other imigrants. The laws are there for a reason and if we don't abide by them then there will be no order.I admit that some laws are rediculous, but I have to agree. Some of God's law's seem harsh, but He made them for a reason.Yes,these laws may seem harsh. But you know the saying,"Give a little and they take alot." This situation fits with that saying.

Even though I do sympathize with the illegal immigrants, there is a legal process that needs to be followed. My son and I did it and are now permanent residents, so they should to.

I am all for enforcing the immigration laws that are on the books already. Since the federal government doesn't seem to want to do anything about it our local government is going to have to step up to the plate to enforce the laws. I hope that all local governments will start enforcing the immigrations laws that we already have on the books.
I don't feel sorry for anyone who willing breaks the law one minute and screams that their legal rights are being violated the next minute. I don't believe that anyone should get to pick which laws the want to follow or not.

Once a person has been in prison they are stripped of alot of rights. So why should people in this country illegally have rights?.
Prince William county government is trying to step up to the plate. But,the clerk at the supervisor's office told me yesterday that the federal government says that they are going to try and block them, that it is a federal matter.
