No, of course they dont interfer with the teething, its an old wives tale..

If anything it helps the teeth come in faster.

I have enough experience with babies to know that it shouldn't interfere with teething, but if a baby keeps the pacifier in for long periods of time, it can develop an overbite...

Pacifiers are a controversial subject. Many dentists were concerned that persistent sucking on a pacifier over a long period of time could result in the misalignment of secondary teeth in children. And many doctors warn that prolonged and heavy pacifier use can definitely interfere with speech development in older infants and toddlers.

hi i have had 2 children 1 of them had one and the other never, they have had no problems with teething yet!!
