Grandma to the rescue again.

Earlier my 20 year old granddaughter called me all most hysterical. She is very much afraid of Cockroaches. She sees one and she goes ballistic . Well she was on her way to work from a friend’s house when she sees one on the floor of her car. Now she calls me crying and she is getting hysterical . I have to have her stop here at home and I get to get her work cloths out of the car and make sure that there aren’t any roaches in them. Really these are palmetto bugs. Then I have to try and find the thing in the car and take her to work so I can fumigate the car and them go get her after work. These bugs really scare her. Do you know any one or are you very much afraid of any thing like tha/

Way to go Grandma!!! I'm sure you were your GD's hero all day long. :)
I met a young lady once who was terrified of public restrooms. She would literally go for hours (at work) without taking a "break." Then she'd complain of having a urinary infection. Go figure!
My daughter on the other hand, will ONLY pee in a toilet. While camping, we didn't have a toilet to use--just an outhouse. She was so scared of it, she got sick to her stomach. I'm glad that we've finally got her over that! (she's 6 now.)
I'm not afraid of bugs, although, I don' like them, and really don't like them in my house. My 3 year old just runs out and smashes them with her bare feet (yuck!) and then picks it up and brings it to me. "Look what I found, Mommy." Guess I won't have to worry about her being afraid of bugs.

creematee you gave me a good chuckle. I have 2 boys and 2 girls. When they were little sometimes they had to pee in the woods like. My youngest daughter would stand up and pee just like the boys And she could aim it out there too. I agree wiith the yuck for the squshed bugs. I would like to meet your girls. They sound like fun. Picking gooseberries and making pies.. I'm Glad that she's not afraid of bugs Lets hope she dosen't develope a fear of them.

Bugs like this can be quite annoying. No, I do not know anyone who is this afraid of them, but they can be a nuisance and the problem is they will tend to hide in things and next thing you know they multiply and get even worse for you. Hope you helped solve her problem.

These cockroaches are very adament creatures. They never die so easily. I wonder how they can find a place in fridge also when it is so cold. How much ever we take precaution like spraying, putting powders also they keep coming. If we finish them, they come from next doors. Once you see a cockroach, you feel it is there on you and feel restless.

I hate cockroach too, and even my kids...Even if you spray them still they coming back.
