The job scams out of the UK are quite bad. There have been incidents where people have been offered jobs in the UK and have been asked to send not very large sums - maybe 300-400 Pounds as a processing charges, fees to be deposited in a bank account and once the money is in the bank, the person/s refuses to even answer the phone, must be having caller ID phone/s. There have been reports of four to five people in my city alone in India that have fallen victim to such scams. Across India and the globe, there must be many more, I am sure that many of the people must not have reported the matter to the authorities so as not to look foolish. Some of the other scams out of the UK as well Africa are mails asking people to deposit a certain amount of money into bank accounts so that lottery winnings or unclaimed money ranging from a few hundred dollars to a few hundred million dollars can be processed. Needless to say that once the processing money is sent, its gone forever.
