When you go camping do you go in an RV or tent? Some RVs now a days are so nice you could live in them. In fact I lived in one with my family for a month due to hurricane Katrina.

We go in out RV. We camp for 10 days straight each year and have 2 young kids. I can imagine not being able to bathe 2 kids who have been playing in the mud all day. I was 1 week away from having my daughter when I told my husband it was time to go get a motor home. I cant take an 18 day old baby out in a tent in April. It gets very cold at night. Now we love the ease of just turning the key and we are ready to go.

We always camp in a tent. I guess I have never considered it camping if I wasn't in a tent. We lived in a Motor Home for a couple of months several years ago while waiting for our house to be finished. It was really kind of cozy, with all of the comforts of home.

To me,camping is roughing it in a tent or you build lean-to shelter and cooking over on open fire (where allowed) or with propane stove. using an rv is just moving your house to a different place.
