My friends usually borrow CDs from me. Sometimes at school they borrow pen, pencil or anything else but they do not have the manners and the habit of giving back me the borrowed things. It makes me think were they taught any manners by their parents or there household is like this. But nonetheless if I ask them for my things they say, " Ok, I will give you back, what's the hurry for?" Well, what can I do then? Do you give things that you borrow, back to the owner?

I always give back things that I borrow, even if it is a food item. I will go to the store and buy the exact food item they gave me and return it to them. If something happens while I have the borrowed item in my care, I will give back money to replace the item with or get one myself if I have the time. I think it's wrong to borrow things with the intentions of keeping it. It's not their's to do keep, and it wasn't the borrower's money that purchased the item. So all borrowed items need to be returned in a timely fashion, or the agreed upon date.

That's understandable, I dislike people who do that myself, but one shouldn't have to feel forced to lend out something if they aren't wanting to, or don't trust the person to return the item they borrowed. People who feel the need to spread rumors around after being told no they couldn't borrow this or that, have major issues and can't handle being told no. Those type of people one doesn't need to be associating with anyways, so even if rumors do start it's just best left ignored.

That's good and is honesty. It's difficult to say NO when someone asks for a thing because if we do they back bite about us.

hi there! ;0 okay, so im a bit guilty here. :p lolz. its just because sometimes, whenever i borrow trivial things, like ballpen or a hanky, i tend to forget to return it. yeah, i know that is not a good thing to do and im really trying my best to return them to their respective owners. lolz. :)

I am guilty of not remembering that I have borrowed things. When I was in school it was abig thing to collect others pens and pencils so either they would end up stolen or borrowed and never returned but I would always try to remeber to give it back if I had borrowed one. But now things like CDS and Movies if I borrow then I try to remember when I have listened or watched them to return them but sometimes I get distracted and forget. But I get annoyed as well if things arent returned to me after being borrowed, but being as forgetfull as myself I just remind the borrower that they have it and I would like the item back. I have never came across someone who wanted to know what the big hurry was, I personaly think that there should be no explaination to them people it is after all you belonging and if you want it back then they should ablige no questions asked.
