What picture could you visualise to generate that amount of words so that we can see after we have read them the picture that we ourselves can see what you see.?

View Over Sussex Weald - View over Sussex Weald from South Downs
I think I might be on my way to Exmoor or The Devil's D-yke, up on the South Downs. Both of them present terrific views, and encompass a lot of nature at its best. I think I'll opt for the view oer the Sussex Weald from the South Downs... The Devil's D-yke, looking northwards, presents a panoramic view across the Sussex Weald to the North Downs in Surrey. On a clear day, the sight is breathtaking and you can even see planes taking off from and landing at Gatwick. Towns, villages and churches are dotted about the countryside, and there is a jigsaw puzzle of different coloured farmers' fields, and a menagerie of animals, including sheep, cows, deer, and horses. Cricketers can be seen and heard below, in the village of Poynings, the sound of leather on willow and shouts of "owzat" rebounding in echo against the side of the escarpment. Trains can be seen emerging from Clayton Tunnel and wending their way through the green landscape, and undulating grasslands stretch for miles. Electricity pylons stand tall in the countryside, carrying the current to thousands of homes, which in places are far spread. Rivers and streams can be seen cutting their way through the countryside, and cars silently wend their way up and down the A23 to London and Brighton. Is that enough words, Deeeky? More importantly, does it paint a picture for you? Great discussion my dear friend. Thank you for the opportunity to present a nostalgic picture which I adore. Brightest Blessings.

Very nice view and the discription was enhanced by the thoughts of various things going on as well. Thanks for that memory and picture.

You're very welcome. I go up there a lot, and just sit and watch what's going on down in the Weald, then turn the other way, and can watch the boats on the sea, and right across Brighton. I love it on the South Downs. So peaceful, yet busy beneath you.

such a treat for you to be in such lovely scenic countryside and wallow in the fantastic views. It has to be a very theraputic mind calming way to take all the thoughts of the scenery in at once. Have more great scenic views from Deeeky.
