that owns Sun Cellular, the Philippines's fastest-
growing mobile phone service.
Digitel is divided into the following subsidiaries:

+ BAYAN TELECOMMUNICATIONS INCORPORATED, commonly
known as BayanTel, is a telecommunications company
serving areas in Metro Manila, Bicol and local
exchange service areas in the Visayas and Mindanao

Philippines.
BayanTel is also a provider of data and
communications services such as dedicated domestic
and international leased lines, frame relay
services, Internet access, and other managed data
services like Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL).
i actually subscribe to all these companies in one way or another and i think Globe and Smart offers the best when it comes to mobile communications, PLDT is excellent when it comes to land line services, BayanTel's DSL services is above average and Digitel's DSL services is average.

Wow that is a lot of companies and you subscribe to them all? wow.
We only use Verizon for our cellphone and Cox Cable for our internet/cable and landline. Those are the only two we use. I know there are a few companies out there but I am only familiar with these two.

You sure have a lot of cellphone services in such a small country. By the way, thanks for the best response.

Here in Canadas, the main cellphone company is Rogers which also has landline service in some provinces and not in othrs. The other GSM cellphone is Fido which is under Rogers. The other cellphone companies Telux and some with Mobile in their name are CMA which means they are limited to Us and Canada. We used to have MTS as our landline, M stnading for Manitoba, there are others, like STS, the S standng for the province of Saskatchewan. We now use Shaw Cable and Shaw telephone services. As of yet there is no Shaw cellphone service.
