You are being exiled to an isolated island, let's say, one of the Spratly islands, for a year, food and water and a shelter provided, what would bring to get through the year of solace?

I will bring along my husband for a company, a radio and a camera to shot some souvenirs. My husband is my priority because we may be able to produce a baby in the island and thats the best remembrance I could get there.

Either a solar-powered or wood-fired bathtub or hot tub would have to be there for my arthritis and for "solace" as you wrote. A hand-crank and/or solar powered radio and a book on survival that included how to make different things in that environment and how to live off the land. I know food, water, and shelter are provided. But I like to eat wild foods anyway.
