Computer Literate means Not Having Good Handwriting. R U Agree?

I honestly don't know. My handwriting has always been horrible and when I learned how to use the computer i noticed that my handwriting only got worst than it was before. I could bare read my own handwriting, can you imagine that. I think it's more from lack of practice more than anything else.

Hello helloravinder, Well, I don't think I want to agree with you on this! I am a computer literate too but I have a very neat handwriting. It is not my own words, most of my friends and colleagues think of the same too. I remember when I started working, I took a minute for our department's weekly meeting and my boss praised me high for my neat handwriting. After that, she kept asking me to take the minute though she has her own secretary *smiles*

No. Computer literate means one who has learnt operation of a computer, not necessarily learning all the programmeing languages etc. If one is good at typing, using MS office, Power Point, excel etc. can be called as com. literate.

Nope i dont agree much but in my case it is since spending too much time typing on the keyboard will kinda screw your fingers like me since i have suasage fingers and i have heavy hands which is why i bang my fingers too much on the keyboard.And sicne my keyboard is vry old and my hands ahve very little dextresity, have a difficult time typing on the keyboard

I guess this is true on a case to case basis. For me, I think it applies. It's because I no longer have to write a lot using pen and paper that I tend to forget how it is to write manually. Although I still have a notebook and ballpoint pen with me, my writings in it are barely legible. More like chicken scratch, LOL! But then I have officemates who still have pretty penmanships that I am ashamed of my writing I don't to have my handwriting next to theirs!
