I can't forget my passwords so I don't need to note them down and I never had. I have been using net for 3 years, regularly but never a time has came when I forgotten my password. What do you do? Do you remember your passwords or note them down somewhere?

I use password managers. Often enough, I'll forget both my password AND username. :S
I store most of my logins in Opera Portable Personal, which resides on my flashdrive. But the logins that I access most frequently from IE - usually when associated with regular e-mail links - are stored in the Windows Live toolbar.
I backup my hard drive to DVD whenever I install a new program (only costs $0.30 USD). I occasionally backup new data files to a flashdrive or external USB hard drive, though my most important programs are also backed up to removable media, such as CDs and floppy disks (yes, I still use floppies). I also backup my main flashdrive to DVD+RW.
I haven't lost track of a login yet, but if I do, I'll just have it sent to my e-mail. :)

There are two passwords that I use for everything, so I know that if one password doesn't work the other one should. So I don't have to write anything down or what not. Writing them down or keeping them elsewhere is just asking for trouble. Someone else can easily get to them that way and easily get into any of your accounts. I'm not taking that risk.

I usually remeber my passwords. The only time I forget them is if I accidently used an uppercase in the beginning. But thats usually the only time. I have 3 passwords that I rotete with...so Its easier to remeber

I never really forgot a password, but I'm starting to keep a log of all my passwords just in case I do forget. I think it is a good idea, and it will help you remember sites you may have forgotten about...

i keep a tablet where i write down the website i've joined and my username and passwords. i didn't use to, but it got harder to remember. some websites ask you to put numbers in your passwords now, or some didn't have my username available so i had to add numbers to it to use it and that made it harder to remember them all.

It is a problem frequently encountered . Though the website logo and password are jotted down , in times of need the same are hard to find.

Either I remember them, or have my computer remember them for me. I only use about 5 different passwords, so I dont need to write them down since it's a one out of 5 chance if I forget them. I usually have my computer memorize the passwords that are automatically assigned to me since they are usually a jumble of letter and numbers thatd id never remember...
If I have to make a new password that isnt part of my "5" I will start using it for as a password for other things so that I remember it faster =]
Good Question
