This is my Bearded Dragon Piston

I thought I would share with everyone my Bearded Dragon Piston. He is a year and a half old and 24 inches long. He has beautifull orange coloring around his face. He is honestly the coolest lizard ever!! I got him when He was 4 inches long. I have hand feed him everyday and held him. Now he will let anyone hold him, he lets my kids{3 & 5} put him on there semi trucks and drive him around the house. Yes we let him run around the house. He has NEVER bit anyone. He likes to go outside and eat the grass and catch a bug if he can. He eats all kinds of things like..crickets, grasshoppers, moths, strawberries, raspberries, apples, grapes, romain lettuse, the list goes on. Im so glad I got him. He has been a really good pet and hope he sticks around for years to come!!I have added a pic of him and will add more to your responces. Thanx!!

He's cute. Does he get along ok with the dogs? I guess, what I really mean, is does the dogs not bother him? I could see my dogs, even my chihuahua, trying to hurt him. Is he big enough that you can see him, without stepping on him? By the way, I like your new avatar.

Oh ya. He loves my dog and she loves him. He licks her once in a while. she tries to play but of course he dont want to. He is 27-29 inches long. So ya you can see him pretty good.
My new avater is our new puppy Hemi. She is a 8 week old puggle jug. Pug, beagle, jack russle terrier mix, A very cute mut!! LOL

Yes hes longer than the puppy. He only weighs about a pound or a little more.

Oh wow, I didn't realize he was that big. He's about as big as the puppy then. lol Probably longer, ain't he?

Hes so cute!! I love bearded dragons, unfortunately I don't really have much room for one, and my mother says no more pets. We only have two cats, a fish, and a dog. I'm being..hlaf sarcastic there XP

Thanx. I want another one but my hunny said the same thing..enough!! LOL. We have a dog, lizard, fish like 60, 2 frogs, a ferret, and were getting a puppy this week. Yep I guess thats enough.. NOT!! LOL

Me too. If I had a bigger house and more land I would own so many more! I want big dogs like great danes and mastiffs but dont have the room. Someday I will. I think for no I will go work at a pet shop or zoo so I can be around animals everyday.

I know!! You can never have enough pets. I absolutely love animals, and I wish I coul own LOTS of pets. I would love to have a mouse, but my mom absolutely hates the idea, lol. I just heard my Aunt got two new kittens, and I'm sooo jealous (

He is absolutely gorgeous! How cool that he let's the kids "drive" him around on their trucks. That sounds like it would make the cutest video. I think if we lived near you, you would be my son's best friend. He has been wanting a bearded dragon for quite a while now. But his dad and his step mom aren't too thrilled about having a lizard that big in their house (he lives with them, and our daughter lives with me and my husband, in case you were a bit confused. My son visits on weekends and vacations). So guess who will get to keep the lizard if he gets one? You guessed it....ME! But that's ok, because I used to have an iguana named Sinbad that was as big as your Piston. Just think of all the fun I could have letting it chase my cats! Hehehehe

LOL. Beardies are very good pets and dont stink{which I love} Make sure if you do get one to get it as a baby and hand feed it and hold it everyday to get it used to you. Then you will have a cool lizard! Mine is the hit of the neighdor hood. I always have kids stopping over to pet Piston. I think its cute. And I have taught kids that wierd creatures{frogs, lizards, snakes} arnt going to hurt you if you respect them. Chaseing the cats would be funny to watch!! LOL Here is a pic to see how big he is. He goes from my elbow to my hand and his tail goes another 6-8 inches from there.

Hi copperkitten! What a nice looking bearded dragon, he's a real cutie! I am so happy to hear that he has been such a good pet and enjoys people and your other animals! I like your new avatar, is that your new poochie? Did you decide on a name? Hugzz to you and your whole zoo lol.

He is cute for a lizard isnt he!! LOL. Yes thats the new baby. We did finaly decide on a name. It will be Hemi Layla. Hemi for short. Have a good night from the mad animal house!! LOL

Thanx, I though hemi was an adorable name. We havent got her yet. Hoping tonight if everything works out. They will be super excited when we get her. I cant wait!!

wow hes really cool looking,i use to have 2 eguanas a long time ago and they were really neat too,they use to just sit on me and chill out and loved to hang on my shoulder,but they got so big i gave them to my older sister and my brother in law built them a huge house and all.they were so friendly.pattie
