Bruised

Have you ever bruised something on your body? And no I'm not talking bout getting a bruise here and there. I mean have you ever dropped something or hit something and thought you might of broke it( it being what ever you hit or kick with) and turned out it just bruise badly. Well tonight a can of pinto beans fell on my thumb and it turned red and bruised up right away. Thankfully it don't hurt that much unless I touch. has this ever happend to you?

yeh my cheek bone , my whold face swelled up , i looked like the elephant man for about a week then it kept hurting for weeks but apparently it wasn't broken. Also done this to my fingers ( brother slammed them in heavy door by accident) and ones still not right now, also toes wrists, nose and ankles have all had quite nasty bruising at one point or another but miraculously the only thing i've ever broken is my ribs thanks to a particularly nasty dog.
