Yes, some people feel that we should be able to custom design our babies. What do you think of this?
What happens when a designed blonde haired, blue eyed, well built super-intelligent jock - turns out to be a 90 pound weaking who can barely read, can't walk and chew gum at the same time and has brown hair with one brown eye and one green eye but is perfectly happy and healthy?
Will the parents feel they can get rid of the child? Will there be tons of lawsuits?
What would your designed baby be like?
I wonder if they can design out colic, the terrible 2's and adolescence?

I think you know my answer to this one already pal , My youngest son was most definatley not a designer baby , he is very unique . he is not what some people would design but in saying that he is a tall handsome intelligent friendly great sense of humour guy who has ballance problems , fine motor control not too good , speech problems , but I love him to bits we all do and he loves us back and I wouldn't change him for any designer baby , great discussion pal xxxx

I know..but now it seems we are actually going to play with the actual genes. I think that is even scarier. It is like they are removing the recessive traits.
