We have a wonderful little water park not far from here that is connected to an amusement park. There is also another one about an hour from here that is strictly a water park. Have you been to a water park? What's your favorte thing to do there? I love to do two things....float on a tube in the "Lazy River" and get in a tube and ride the waves in the wave pool. I'm not too much for the big slides, but my kids sure do love them!

Our local pool and lots of others in the area, have updated and gone more toward water parks we have lazy rivers and large slides, but no wave pools. I have been going often with my evening clients. Most evenings the lazy river gets shut down to do water walking for a half hour. Talk about a workout, if you go against the flow especially. I enjoy being able to get into the water on these hot days, and I like the improvements at our local pool that have made it more handicapped accessible.

The water walking is a wonderful idea! I wonder why our park hasn't thought of that? I may just have to put that into a suggestion box, if they have one! It is finally beginning to cool off here. We have one more weekend that the water park is open and then it's closed until next spring.

I am so happy for you that you have a water park nearby. We don't have water parks here in the valley! The nearest one is in San Antonio, about 150 miles away. I love to go to Sea world and to the amusement park in Fiesta Texas. We went this last month of July and we had a lot of fun!
