Cutting Little Boys Hair

I have a four year old son and we have always kept his hair short and clean cut. It's none of my business, I try to not judge anyone, but I see celebrities like Kate Hudson whose little boy has hair so long that he looks like a girl to me. Of course, looking at her soon to be ex husband it does make more sense, but I still don't like the look. So, no judgement to thoe who keep a boy's hair long, but I'm interested in what other people think about this.

I personally prefer to see little boys with shorter hair. But I think it's a personal decision. Everyone has their own reasons for doing what they do. :)

Oh yes, definitely, I don't hold judgement on anyone's decisions on that subject. I just wondered what other people thought. Thanks for replying!

I think as long at the hair looks good and doesn't make them look like a girl it is ok. Some little boys with a little length look good. Others it makes them look like a girl.

It does depend on the child. Thanks!

My father was an enlisted Marine for 20 years. He would have a stroke if I had a son with even medium length hair!

I'm going to keep my sons hair short, unless he goes through some phase where he wants to see what it looks like a little grown out (hopefully not to grown out)

I have a 10 yr old and have always kept his hair short. he wanted to grow it out a little once so we let him. that lasted about a month. he didnt like it either.

I'm sure it's easier that way. I have always been too vain of a woman to wear my hair too short (beautiful on some, don't know how it would look on me), but I am sure it's easier to handle. Thanks for responding!

depending on how long.. I too prefer the clean cut look but right now longer hair is what boys are wanting to wear. So why not have your son have it as well..but too long is a different story

My son is only 4 so his biggest preference for his hair is to not get shampoo in his eyes when we wash it! If he wants it a little longer as he gets older I will be flexible. But, I prefer it shorter so I hope he'll agree with me.
