Mine Safety Needs Updating

Although I know mining will always be a dangerous job, I believe mine safety needs to be checked into and updated where possible.
It hasn't been that long since the collapse in Utah, today three miners were killed in a mine in Indiana.

Something seriously needs to be done, to prevent further injuries and deaths. I wonder if this is gonna start some sort of inspection of other mines around the country. Just seems that mine integrity is failing miserably.

Hi Hun! I heard about the miners that were killed in Utah, and I just saw the one that happened today with the link you provided. I agree that they need to have much better safety. It is really sad though that things like this have to happen in order for safety inspectors to get off their butt and actually do something.

It seems that every time they have a big mine disaster, jeweled, they make a lot of promises about reforming the mining industry. I wish they would actually do something for a change-other than paying the problem lip service.
