Do you buy the same dish detergent everytime?

For years I had one favorite dish detergent and clothes washing detergent. Like clock-work I would buy a big jug of Tide detergent for clothes and Sunlight for my dishes. But, somewhere along the way I stopped being so picky and started settling for whichever detergent I could get my hands on. Perhaps the change happened when my spouse started doing the majority of the grocery shopping. Most times he buys the same dish detergent, but there are times when he will pick the cheapest stuff on the shelf and then I'm stuck with it for an entire month!
So, how about you? Do you always buy the same dish detergent? Or, do you like to experiment with various brands? Which two or three would you consider to be your favorite dish detergents?

We almost always buy Cascade for our dishwasher, and Dawn for if we need to wash something by hand. I do watch for those two to be on sale, but I usually don't buy a different brand, just because IT is on sale. I guess we are just used to using those and don't even really look at the other stuff.
Laundry detergent we are a little less picky on. I can usually smell the detergent on my clothes for the first few hours when I put them on, so I like to change it up a bit so I don't get so tired of the same smell.

I guess most of the time yes, i tried buying another barnd for our clothes but switched back again to our former brand and never cahnges ever since,it's the same thing with our fabric conditioner.but for the dish detergent,I am planning to try another barnd this week, I'm into cost cutting and will probably choose one that is much cheaper.

I do always buy the same. For washing the dishes I use Joy, for washing clothes I use Tide or Cheer. One time I bought a detergent
that was on sale, big mistake. It turned out that my son was allergic
to it and broke out in hives and his tongue swelled so much we had
take him to the emergency room. So now I stick to the same ones.

Hi there. Yes we always buy the same washing powder and dish washing detergent... I love the smell it gives off and leaves on our clothes...

I always buy dawn with Bleach. But I do switch the scents around all the time,. LOL

I usually stick to the one brand and now and then I try something different. I shopped at Walgreens or was it Wholefoods or something like that and picked out an organic dishwashing liquid and its really nice on my hands. I might stick with that from now on.

We ALWAYS bought our stuff at Sam's Club because of the cheap prices. I just recently switched to Melaleuca because it's better for the environment and supposedly better for people. I'm hoping it might help with my allergies to get some of the yucky stuff out of my house. :o)
