People with the same Name

When I was married, I had a very common last name: Smith. While I didn't know anybody personally with the same first name/last name as mine, I did find out that there were 23 women with the same first name, middle initial, last name as mine in the computer at my pharmacy; there were 20 with the same first name, middle initial, last name at my gynecologists! When we got our divorce I went back to my maiden name, it sure made life a lot simpler. I got errors upon errors because of that last name and so many women having the same 1st name & initial! I even had a call a couple of times about a surgery that was for a different Smith with the same name, lol. (Whoa!!! That was scary!!) As for my first name, I only know about 3 people with the same first name, and they call me by a nickname instead so they know which one I am. I have a lot of friends named 'Bob'...to keep track of which one we're talking about, we've nicknamed them 'tree Bob' (works with landscaping), 'farmer Bob' (who plows my fields and keeps them in crops); then there's Honda Bob, etc, etc. Common first names keep conversations interesting for sure.

LOL That would be scary! The doctor calling to say you have surgery and then realize its not you. Oh Man!!! Thats funny about the farmer Bob. Yes common names make it fun!!
