It's been always a discussion on the news here on how they can solve the problem about the increasing numbers of illegal immigrants in the US. They said that we have already millions of illegal immigrants living here. Honestly, we don't think its fair that they allow to have illegal immigrants here in the US (like mexicans who just came across the border of mexico) because we went through all the hard, long, expensive process to be just a legal permanent resident here and then some people just came here in the US illegally and now they are living and working here like they are true legal immigrants. A lot of americans already complained about this but until now this problem cannot be resolved. What is your opinion about illegal immigrants?

Legal immigrants, YES! Illegal immigrants, NO! This pretty much sums up the opinion of most Americans. Another popular opinion is that we should treat visitors to this country as that country treats our citizens.

YOu have all the authority, checks and balances. Why are you allowing people without proper papers. Put them behind bars and send them back to their country through ships not by flight. You have such vast borders like India, you do not know which side and by what means people enter. Mexico is one where people enter and get into agricultural work and creep into US society.

I don't care how our new Americans came here, They are here and I welcome one and all.Whatever they try to do to stop " Illegals" from coming in, they will find a way.If I were in charge there wouldn't be so hard to become a American.I don't know how many generations my family goes back, but it wasn't hard for my forefathers to become a true American. It took some time ,but it did happen.I always say if you can order your favorite meal at Mc Donalds in English and you are here 6 months straight, then you should consider your self an American.Because even if you were to go back to your homeland , you will be considered an american back home.

I agree that the illegal immigrant problems are a terrible burden on our society. Ppl work and pay into the system so that it's there for them when they need it and instead it's being used to support ppl that are breaking the law to be in this country. If you want to live in the US then come in legally, learn english and contribute to the country...don't just come in and expect a handout. !!HAPPY EASTER!! **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

No, my grandparents parents were illegal immigrants from Ireland, Italy, and wherever else they are from. People don't take that stuff into consideration, the only way you could have been born here in the US is if your family came over here illegally.

I am against them when they mooch off the system and then b*tch and moan when they are caught and actally have to get paying jobs where they can pay taxes. I am against it when they pop out kid after kid after kid and make more off of welfare than I make in 4 months working 50 hours a week or more. I am against it when they use the race card to get what they want. I am against it when they don't pay taxes but use the services our taxes pay for. I am against it when they demand everything be printed or spoken in their native language. You can not go to Japan or Iraq even and demand that people speak English because you can't speak their language. If you're in this country, speak English. No more dual language menus, telephone options, drive through instructions at ATMs or anything else. Everything has to be in English. And the National Anthem surely does not need to be sung in Spanish. I am against them when they sue American schools for not flying the Mexican flag as what happened in Arizona or California one. The Mexicans were 'offended' that the American flag flew, but not the Mexican flag. They went to court and WON their battle to take the American flag down and fly the Mexican flag instead. How pathetic.

Illegal immigration hurts everyone in the US. It is almost impossible to stop the migration from Mexico, but I think everytime someone is caught they should be sent back at their expense not the taxpayers. There are many legal aliens who worked hard to get to get America and did it the right way, we welcome the new citizens! But when illegal aliens come into the country and use false papers, work for less money, take jobs from americans and get onto our welfare rolls it is a sla in the face to the people who came to America in search of a good life through the proper channels.
