Actually this is a bit old but I haven't gotten around to writing about it & decided now was as good of a time as any. Awhile back I decided we needed gutters (rainspouts) around the front of the house and the side. We had gutters only in the back of the house. The water dripping from the roof tore up my flower gradens in front. So my son-in-law finally finished the job a couple weeks ago. A decent job too I feel. Just in time for all the serious downpours we have been getting as of late. I waited for the first rain to watch the water draining from the spout at the end like a child with a new toy. Yes I admit it excited me to a point to see the gutters up and finally working. Just wanted to share this is all. Thanks for your time and responses in advance all. Hope all are having a great day/evening as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I'm so glad your son in law was able to finally get them done for you. From the picture, it looks like he did a really wonderful job. Now hopefully your precious plants will be a little more protected.

Dining Room area - These are by my dining room side of the house
He knocked the lilies down when he first started installing them. I don't let him forget that either. This is a shot of the dining room gutters. Wait not the room itself but the side of the house over dining room. HAHHAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

It sounds as if that is almost as entertaining to you as a fire is. I hope you have enjoyed watching the running water.

With as much rain as I got in the past week I should have added many more feet to tre downspout and have it by the firepit to put the fire out? HAHAHAHA!! Too funny a thought. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

My husband gets excited about gutters too! He has cleaned them, repaired them & complained about them. He says they weren't put on right. At one corner, the water, when it rains, pours over the egde onto our footpsaths. Good luck with your gutters.

How fun it is to have new toys. Here in Central CA we are having a heat wave. We are suppose to hit 104 with humitidy of 60% now for some areas that is not bad but we are not use to the humidity. It only cooled down to 70 degrees the last two nights. Yuck! But it makes for some great swimming druning the day. LOL Love the guttes.
