I have found that there is an amazing thing that happens here at myLot. People don't know how to read. Well let me rephrase that; they know how to read the words but they don't know what they are reading. This has happened to me numerous times. People will read something I wrote and translate it to mean something entirely different than I said. It has happened again very recently and had me so angry this morning!! Without naming anyone or even mentioning the post that this happened in I will say I don't appreciate people twisting my words and meanings so they have some type of ammunition against me. Even going so far as encouraging others to do the same. My friends here at myLot know that I am not an angry person. I don't sit here doing nothing but complaining about my life or what is lacking in it. It doesn't mean I don't complain but it surely isn't my focus in life. You know what though I live in the USA and I have freedom of speech. If I choose to use that to complain about something that is my right. It doesn't make me a bitter or angry person. Also if I tell you something I said was done so sarcastically; that is what it means. I was being sarcastic and a bit obnoxious for no other reason than I felt like being sarcastic. Sometimes I will say something sarcastically that I know other people have thought and don't have the nerve to say it. I have the nerve. So in closing; please when you read what people write; read what they write, don't try adding your own meaning to it.

Well i see you're really angry because of this incident.... Well so far it hasn't happened to me (and i hope it won't), but if it did happen to me and purposely implicate me as the bad person even though the discussion isn't anything like a good or bad topic discussion, i would probably get a bit annoyed and would tell them that it isn't my intent on writing such things. But if they do insist and i know there wasn't anything wrong with what i wrote then maybe i'll have someone else (a friend or someone i know) recheck what i wrote just to prove or make sure that the particular post or discussion wasn't intentionally putting anyone in a bad light or something.... Well anyway, i agree that it might be something to do with people's different cultures... perhaps the way they understood what you wrote was different from what you intended. ^_^ Just try to think of happy thoughts when you come across such people. ^_^ Keep those wrinkles away and just count to ten or a hundred before responding to them. ^_^ Good luck!

Well said and yes I so have been there and I will so be there again and again. IMO I think sometimes it's a mistake, I misunderstand as well from time to time, but most of the time I think these trolls out here do it on purpose. That I can do without. Anyway, if they get too bad with it, as in encouraging others, report them and have their flames removed. Most of us would rather not have that trash here anyways.

Well the person wasn't really flaming me but they weren't listening to me either. They were saying things that would suggest they wanted others to back them up. I agree it can be a mistake but once you have corrected them; it shouldn't continue.

I don't know if i get it right. Maybe they put their meaning not for their own but to avoid misunderstanding or misjudging your post. What i mean is if you and the reply has the same meaning regarding your post and give his/her opinion at least they doesn't violate your post. Not unless they intend to add meaning just for you to answer them without thinking. I'm not sure at all because i don't encounter it yet because i'm new here
