Crickets in the house...

So, when you have a cricket in your house it is supposedly good luck. If it is such good luck, then why in the world do they keep us up all night. I don't think of it as good luck. So, do you kill them when and if you can find them or do you shoo them outside? I usually try to catch them and shoo them out. I only kill spiders in my house. So, do you kill them or what?

I really don't believe in that. there are lots of bad bacteria carried by crickets in the house. I spray them out

I don't kill crickets, they are harmless & don't kill with a bite, lol.
The way I do it is grab the broom and gently sweep the cricket(s) out the back door so they can go live in the grass where they belong.
I stopped killing spiders when I found out they cured my ant problem, lol...which the spiders must have found somewhere else to feed when the ants cleared out because I've not seen a spider all summer.
