Christmas and Mistletoe

I just love Christmas, it is my most favorite season of the year. I love everything about Christmas, the music, the decorations, the family get togethers, the smells and the FOOD!! How many of you hang mistletoe up for the holidays? I have a few times throughout the years, when I could find some fresh that someone was selling. It's not easy to come by in some of the places I've lived. I think it is so romantic to have your honey kiss you under the mistletoe. How do you feel about it?

Nope- no mistletoe- I think the fake is kind of corny- and I can never can find any real- My daughter asked about it last year- she is really into Christmas decorations lately- Christmas and winter are my favorite holidays and season to decorate also- I love snowmen—and angels and I have tons of them.

I do not like mistletoe. It is a paracite and lives on trees to choke off the tree's life. I guess I should not be a scrooge. lol
I do not espically like christmas I usually do not have much money to spend on gifts.

I love Christmas also. In fact, I was singing Christmas songs in the shower this morning. One year my wife and I put up our Christmas tree at the end of September. When we lived in Oregon mistletoe grew on trees near our house so we had fresh mistletoe. It was great. We don't usually put up an mistletoe any more but I might this year.

I've hung real mistletoe but stopped doing so when I found out it can be dangerous. I now have a fake one that I hang up. I put it right in the door to the kitchen which is right next to the stove. Makes for more kisses as people stop to see what's cooking.

I love Christmas, too! I love everything about it! We do hang mistletoe. The mistletoe I get is real but dried. I am told you have to be careful with it when you have children and pets because it is poisonous. Actually, my mind is getting ready for Christmas during the late summer months. There is always so much to do.

Christmas is the only thing I like about the winter season. The Christmas holiday makes everything seem so beautiful, and I'll always have good memories of all the happy Christmases I've had with my family and friends. I used to hang mistletoe, but I don't bother anymore because my husband is not the romantic type.

It has been a number of years since I had mistletoe. When I was in college in Kansas, though, my dad went out and shot some out of the top of some oak trees in Oklahoma and sent it to us for the dorms. That is a fun memory. I am glad you brought it back for me.
