There were plenty of acts all throughout the Renaissance Festival in the pubs, walking the streets, at the Queens Court etc. But the best is the finale unplanned concert so to say. The festival closes at 7 p.m. every night as there is no electricity except for the booths fridges and grills etc. Anyhow around 6 p.m. I heard a lot of loud drumming. I followed the lovely heart beat sound of these drums. I finally came upon the huge crowd. Maybe 1,000 people or more. The actors etc yhave a nightly dance festival in celebration of a great days activities. It is all drums. It included modern day drums as well as handmade cowhide drums. But mostly modern day drums whuiich I found odd but hey it was great sounding. All types and sizes of drums as well. They get the crowd going. It kind of looked like and felt like an old Grateful Dead concert actually with just drumming sounds. I have a lot of photos of this. It lasted well over an hour. Lot's of dancing, waving the hands, screaming, chanting and the sort. A great way to end the long long day I'd say. \HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~
