Do you hate paying more money for plus sized clothing?

For years, I was really good about keeping my weight down, so that I could always fit into a size small or medium. And, that was convenient since some of the best clearance clothing are always in those sizes. You'd be surprised at what kind of deals you can pick up, if you are a really skinny person. But, after my baby was born, I moved up into plus sizes and that was a real pain!
Now when I want to buy a skirt or pants that fit I have to buy a Large or Plus size and they always want to charge me more money. Certainly, it is good incentive for me to lose the baby weight, but it's still annoying.
I don't understand why it would be so much more expensive to fit a larger size woman than one who is smaller. Don't get me wrong. I know that they are using more fabric. But couldn't they simply charge everyone a bit more so that all customers could pay about the same price? Some of my favorite clothing companies already do this. So, I don't know why everyone can't. Aren't companies cheating themselves out of customers when they make over-weight customers pay more?

I would guess it really just is the amount of fabric used. Someone who is really skinny doesn't want to pay more, when they use so much less fabric.
There are a lot of places that don't charge more for larger sizes, though. I usually don't have to pay anything extra for my clothes, but at a lot of places, I'm a size or two smaller than what is considered to be plus size. Maybe if I were to look at the plus size clothing, it would be more expensive, I guess I've just never noticed.
