I'm watching one of my favourite shows, HGTV's Extreme Homes. Does anyone watch this? What's your favourite extreme home - on this show or from elsewhere? I love reading and watching about water towers or missile silo's or other interesting spaces being converted into homes...So what's your favourite and why - and would you move to an extreme home - why? http://www.missilebases.com/History_%20of_%20%2020th_%20Century/index(2000).html

I've seen the show and it's a lot of fun to watch. Here's one of my favorite wesites for futuristic architecture and new ideas. http://www.futurehi.net/archives/cat_architecture.html I would love to live in a house that other people would think is bizarre. It would be exciting to see what we could do with it to make it our own. It would be different!

I used to watch it all the time, then it was off, then on again with a different host, now the English girl. My favorite was what looked like a space ship in the middle of the woods. It was round like one, built on poles that look like they had just landed a space ship. No one could enter, because they would have to have a remote, or they would have to be let in by someone already in there. Anyway, this was their vacation home, not their main home.
