My new job - Week one

So far things are going fairly well. I've learned to input ads into 4-5 different websites. I have to upload photos and copy and paste property descriptions and edit them. It's a time consuming task but I am getting more comfortable with it as I go. I work 20 hrs a week from 10am-2pm. That allows me to drop my children off at school and pick them up. I can also do some work from home. I just finished working from home for two hours. That additional time will build up gradually I think. I hope everyone is doing well. Take care :-)

Where do you work at? I just recently started a new job as well. I started two weeks ago. The first week was oh my gosh so stressful and so tiring. We had to do lots and lots of walking around and no sitting down. I have never walked for 6 hours straight before, then taking a half hour break, then walking again for another 4 hours straight. It made me so sore!

What type of work do you do? I work in a Real Estate office. Fortunately, I get to sit while I do my work. It's computer work and phone calls mostly.

I work at Target, but we're just putting together the store now. We don't open until October 14th. We still have a lot of work to do before the store opens.

Oh yeah. That's hard work! My mom used to work in a department store. She was on her feet all day and she often wore heels! I did some temp work for them during the holidays a few times. Good luck with your new job! I'm sort of fired now :-( I'll keep everyone posted.

I am glad that you get an online job that makes you happy and earn a decent income. If you don't mind, may I ask you something? I would like to do an online job which could earn me something other than being in this site (mylot). Just how much is your income per week and is your job available to people like me? I am from Malaysia and please if you don't mind I want to know more about what you are doing now.

Oh thats really good to hear Miami! :) Im really happy to hear that, Im still searching! I sent my resume and letter of interest of to this Brain Injury Waiver program where I live, they need a secretary. I hope I WOW her with my letter of interest, and she likes my resume. Im sure if she will just me with me for an interview she will like my personality. Im confident there! hehe Thats really cool you can work at home from time to time. It makes things much easier. And it sounds like your schedule really works out for you. I like all those kinds of tedious jobs, I like working with the PC and typing. Kind of why Im on here all the time! lol Take Care! Bay xx

I'm glad your first week went well. It's good that you could find something and still be able to do stuff for your children. I wish I could find something I could do from home just a couple hours a day.

Well I'm glad you are doing well, I know how hard it is on families to balance work with the childrens' school schedule, and it sounds like you have the perfect amount of time, so you can be available for the schoolkids! Not only that you are problably learning alot about real estate, unless you already do! Good luck, and keep up the good work!
