so can anyone with better googling skills than mine help me find a site which will display this information?

I hope I'm not too late, but I just found this discussion
This site has a program to show which areas will be flooded when the oceans rise a given number of meters. I hope you have broadband, but with my dialup access it still works, though you need to be patient.

I dont know any sites that could help you out but have you watched that al gore video about the environment? I think its called 'an inconvenient truth'.
It's a bit tedious but it does give some very good information on which places will be hit by flooding due to global warming and how weather patterns will change irrevocably if something isnt done. If i find any links I'll post them here for you.
