Have you been to a boarding school? Did you like it? Would you like to put your child in the boarding? At what age did you go? i was in a boarding.I went in at the age of four,looking back i was very young to be away from home.The place where i lived had no good schools and my father was very keen i go to a good school and learn English.When i was in school it was a mixed feeling.Everytime i went back after a holiday i would feel very homesick,i used to howl and cry.I even cursed thinking why my parents were doing this to me.As a teenager i started liking school as i had lots of friends,lots of activites which i enjoyed.Now when i look back i think boarding has done alot of good to me.I did put my son too but not so young only when he was 8years old.He too found it to be good.Boarding toughens you up.Nowadays the boarding schools are so good,what luxury for them.It was not like this when i studied.Food used to be terrible for us.Let me have your views.
